      Because of Love
Words & Music by Mae Moore

Like driving rain on parched dry land
I fell hard against your grace
Nowhere to run - no hiding place
Hard as truth having to face you
I've drank so much from the glass of life
Made up my mind this time to do it right
I'll save it all for you - I'll pay your price
Some things you just don't sacrifice

If I could see - into the blue
I'd still give everything to you
And it would be - yes it would be because of love

There have been times, I know I've moved too slow
But I'll cover the distance, now here we go
Watch me fade in the afterglow
      Where it ends - I don't know
But we've got a chance and that's all we need
We only need one thing if we really believe
And I do - you know I do
      Could you believe it too

If I could see - into the blue
I'd still give everything to you
And it would be - yes it would be because of love
This mystery wrapped up in you
When it begins to all come true
Then it will be - yes it will be because of love

I may be wrong but that's alright
When the weather changes - hang on tight
Sweet rain falls down from above
Rain on me because of love...
