, writing with his wife, Heidi, is a renowned business futurist who first made his mark on the world with
Future Shock
and then went on to write a series of books about what will happen to our society as we continue our obsession with technological innovation. Toffler wrote about the information society, communications breakthroughs, outsourcing, downsizing, and many other phenomena many years before the phenomena began to unfold. He is a highly influential advisor to business and industry.
